January’s Key Moments at One Raceway
The new year kicked off in spectacular fashion at One Raceway, and January was filled with exciting milestones, thrilling racing events, and significant achievements.
Let’s take a moment to recap the highlights that made the first month of 2025 one to remember.
Track Days to Welcome Back the Public
We kicked off January with two track days on the 8th and 22nd, welcoming back motorsport enthusiasts to the circuit. These days provided a chance to get back on the track and enjoy some action in preparation for the exciting events ahead.
Bluey’s Round Up: The First Bi-Directional Event
One of the most significant moments of January came during the Bluey’s Round Up event on the 18th-19th, where we hosted the first-ever bi-directional event at One Raceway. Sunday saw competition take place anti-clockwise—marking the first time the track was ever run in what has been named the Shelley Circuit.
In a truly memorable moment, our owner Steve Shelley himself was on hand to lead the very first laps around the newly configured circuit in a Porsche GT3 Cup Car. It was a powerful symbol of the hard work and vision that has gone into transforming this facility.
Bluey’s Round Up Charity Fundraising
Another highlight of Bluey’s Round Up was the announcement of the event’s Overall Winner—the team that raised the most funds for Rare Cancers Australia. In a heartwarming and tight contest, the winning teams were Hyundai’s #68 & #78 and Shed 67 Racing #67. Congratulations to these teams for their incredible fundraising efforts! It was inspiring to see such dedication to a good cause alongside the thrilling racing action.
Historic Motorsport Returns to Goulburn
The month concluded with an exciting return to historic motorsport at One Raceway during the 2025 Return to Goulburn event on February 1-2. The weekend marked the start of a fresh historic motor racing season, held at the newly transformed One Raceway.
Both the Mustang Owners Club Australia and the MG Car Club Canberra came out with sparkling displays laps and the feedback we received about our facilities was nothing short of amazing.
